TREKKING IN OUARZAZATE
Day 1 : Arrival to Marrakech
Day 2 : Marrakech
Marrakesh is the jewel of the south, one of the four Imperial cities
of Morocco, and an important cultural and commercial centre, set
at the foot of the High Atlas mountains.
It is a city of vibrancy and solemnity, souk and square, palace
and riad, mosque and garden; a city wrapped in faded red, ochre
walls, and dominated by the Koutoubia mosque, visible from throughout
the city.
Day 3 : Marrakech / Ouarzazate
Ouarzazate located at an altitude of 1160 metres/3,806 feet in the
middle of an arid plateau, was built by the French as a garrison
in the late 1920's. The town is renowned for its pottery and carpets.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate .

Day 5 : Ouarzazate / Taroudant
Vast ramparts surround this Berber market town that was once the
most important trading centre south of Marrakech and is still the
largest town in the fertile Sousse Valley. Taroudant is noted for
its local crafts and you can pick up some nice bargains here.
Day 6 : Taroudant .

Day 7 : Taroudant / Marrakech
Day 8 : Transfer to Marrakech airport.

Morocco can be visited all the
year although the winter months can be wet in the north. The
Atlas mountains have snow in the winter and so are best between
April and October. The desert to the south of the Atlas is
cooler between October and April.
