Day 1
Arrival/San Jose. Overnight at Hotel Clarion Amon Plaza. Breakfast

San Jose is in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. This cool tropical

Day 2-3
Rent a car pick up, and self drive to San Gerardo de Dota. Overnight
at Trogon Lodge. Breakfast included Trogon Lodge is located in San
Gerardo de Dota, near Cerro de la Muerte, Costa Rica's highest peak.
The drive takes approximately 2 hours from San José heading
southeast on the Pan-American highway. As one drives up, marvelous
views appears before your eyes, carrot & potato plantations,

Day 4
Self drive to Dominical. Overnight at Cuna del Angel. Breakfast
inlcuded 9km south of Dominical, in Puertocito, between the coastal
road and the only 500 m distant Pacific Ocean in the south of Costa

Day 5-6-7
Self drive to Sierpe. Leave car at Restaurant Oleaje Sereno. Boat
transfer to Marenco Lodge, Bahia Drake. 3 nights lodging, breakfast,
lunch and dinner, transfer to/from Sierpe, Tour Marenco Reserve.
( Please notice: boat transfer from Sierpe to lodge could be a bit
rough due to tires and waves. This is the only way to arrive to
this wonderful area in the country. Try to maintain you luggage
dry by keeping it well storage in the boat with plastic bags. Follow
your captain instructions. This is part of the adventure in Corcovado
NP area.).

Boat trip to Sierpe. Pick up car and self drive to Manuel Antonio.

Self drive to Monteverde. Hotel El Establo-deluxe

Self drive to Rincon de la Vieja. Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. Superior

Along the Pan American highway you will discover Guanacaste and
Rincon de la Vieja National Park. The climate in this national park
is so diverse that areas with a severe dry season lasting 4 or 5
months are immediately followed by others, near the summit or on

Day 16-17
Self drive to Arenal, La Fortuna. Hotel Montaña de Fuego-deluxe

Beautiful ride through mountains and typical small villages. Arenal
volcano is the most active volcano in Costa Rica and with some luck
you might be able to observe the red lava. This almost perfect cone,
which soars 1,633 meters above sea level, has a crater 140 meters

Day 18
Self drive to Sarapiqui.Hotel Sueño Azul.

near the boundaries of the well known Braulio Carrillo National
Park.
