Floreana.

Ecuador Galapagos Boat

Floreana is the name of one of the Galapagos Islands with the most interesting human history but is also the name of a family run motor yacht, with a professional crew and a lot of facilities to ensure you a comfortable stay, while introducing you to the history, geography and fearless wildlife of the Galapagos Islands.

The Floreana (formerly San Juan) was totally rebuilt in March 2003. The decor of the ship is made of beautiful, dark mahogany wood. Each cabin has double lower berths and upper single berths, a full bath, ample closet space, and two portholes for excellent sunlight reflecting from the sea. In the dining room, there are two ample tables with all meals served in a buffet style. Or, if you like, you may eat at the outside dining table and breathe in the salty sea breeze while enjoying your delicious food. A large upper deck is furnished with relaxing sun chairs. On the front deck, you can watch the bow waves as you cruise to the next Galapagos Island. If you are interested in diving the Galapagos, the Floreana might be the right choice for you.

The Floreana belongs to the Penaherrera Antrade brothers with a lot of experience in the Galapagos Islands since the entire family was born a raised in the Galapagos Islands. The family is 100% involved in the running of the yacht. Carlos and Freddy Penaherrera are the captains of the Floreana, the dive master are brother Jimmy Penaherrera and Timonel, the second aboard after the Captain is Cesar Penaherrera. The logistics and marketing is in the capable hands of other members of the family, Walter Cango and Fernando Idrovo.
