India - Stok Kangri climb and Ladakh trek

Day 1: Arrive Delhi, pick-up and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Delhi/Leh fly O/n Hotel.
Day 3: Leh, free day. O/n Hotel.
Day 4: Leh, Indus valley sightseeing. O/n Hotel.
Day 5: Leh/Spituk/Zingchan, trek starts. O/n Tent.
Day 6: Zingchan to Rumbak. O/n tents.
Day 7: Acclimatization day or try for a peak. O/n tents.
Day 8: Rumbak-Stokla pass-Mankarmo. O/n Tent.
Day 9: Mankarmo to main base camp. O/n Tent.
Day 10: Spare day for summit. O/n Tent.
Day 11: Height gain/Advance base camp if needed. O/n Tent.
Day 12: Summit Stok Kangri, main base camp O/n tents.
Day 13: Trek back from base camp and transfer to Stok-la. O/n Tent.
Day 14: Stok-la to Leh. O/n Hotel.
Day 15: Leh, free day. O/n Hotel.
Day 16: Leh/Delhi fly, transfer to hotel. O/n Hotel.
Day 17: Delhi, day at leisure, evening pick-up to international airport.
Day 18: Fly back.

The best season to visit India is from October to April when it is sunny and warm although temperatures can be low at night during the winter. In the high mountains there is snow and ice all year but a tropical climate prevails in the foothills. Monsoon period is June until September.
