TREKKING in BOLIVIA
The mountains of Bolivia offer some of the best trekking in South America.

DAY 1.La Paz / Condoriri Lagoon

Tuni Lagoon. The walk starts with flat trails right up to the foot of

of Mt. Condoriri. Camp at an elevation of 4,650 m. (B, L, D)
DAY 2. Condoriri Lagoon /Ancoma
A long day's walk, crossing two passes at 5,000 m and descending to the

situated in a small and beautiful valley, where you will camp at 3,800
m. (B, L, D)
DAY 3. Anacoma / Chacapampa /La Paz Half an hour walk going down to Chacapampa
(3,550 m), a small village in the Zongo valley with a thermoelectric plant.

at 2,800 m. (B, L, D)
DAY 2. Challapampa / Sandillani
Walk on a good path, descending a steep, slippery slope, wet in places
to The Choro (2,300 m). Cross the river, ideal for a cold bath. Continue

to a Japanese hermit, which has a beautiful view of the Yungas. (B, L,
