Tourism organisations and tourist offices

Travel Trust Association – a non-profit making organisation providing bonding for travel companies and agents – Footloose Adventure Travel is a member (TTA number: R4338).

Climate Care Trust – when you book a flight with Footloose we ask you to make a small contribution to the Climate Care Trust, who then invests the money in environmental solutions and research, more information here.

ATOL – the UK government's licensing and financial protection scheme for flights and air holidays sold by travel organisers and tour operators in the UK – Footloose Adventure Travel is a member (ATOL number: T7121).

Survival International – Survival International campaigns for the rights of tribal peoples.

Tourism Concern – Tourism Concern campaigns for responsibility in tourism, particularly on the effects on local communities.

ANTOR – the Association of National Tourist Offices in the United Kingdom.

TIES – The International Ecotourism Society is the largest NGO ecotourism organisation in the world with members in over 70 countries. TIES roll is to gather and pass on information about ecotourism and memberships include ecotourism academics, consultants and professionals as well as tour companies and ecotourists.

WTO/OMT – the World Tourism Organization is an agency of the United Nations and a leading international tourism organisation.

The East African Wildlife Society – promotes conservation, wildlife and the environment in East Africa, assisting with wildlife and conservation education, promotion and field projects.

Bush Art Safaris – wildlife painting safari holidays and art workshops in the game reserves of Africa.

Out of Africa – Too – One Man's Journey – African Impressions, a mzungu's (westerner's) look at life in East Africa, particularly the countries of Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and South Sudan.
