This is a genuine wilderness safari through some of the best areas
of Southern Africa. The combination of National Parks and Game Reserves
teeming with wildlife and the diversity of the landscape make this
a truly intoxicating destination. Gliding through the waterways
of the Okavango Delta by mokoro is the ideal way to absorb the peace
and tranquility of this unique habitat while meeting the local Bayei
tribe. Moremi and Chobe contain large numbers of game, including
elephant, leopard, lion and even the elusive wild dog. It is Africa
at its most untamed and with a visit to Victoria Falls, this trip
will live long in the memory.
Itinerary
Day 1 Depart London.
Day 2 Arrive Livingstone; relax by river lodge swimming pool or
visit Victoria Falls.
Day 3 To Nata; visit famous bird sanctuary. Afternoon walk; watch
sunset over this surreal landscape.
Day 4 To Maun via Makgadikgadi Salt Pan; afternoon at leisure or
relax by pool.
Day 5 Mokoro ride through channels of Okavango Delta; late afternoon
game walk with local Bayei tribe.
Day 6 Morning game walk; mokoro ride and 4WD back to Maun.
Day 7 To Moremi Game Reserve; afternoon game drive.
Day 8 Game drives with good chance of seeing some of the best wildlife
in Africa.
Day 9 Visit Bushman village; to Savuti, known for its numerous predators
and large elephant herds.
Day 10 Full day of game driving in Savuti.
Day 11 To Chobe for sunset cruise.
Day 12 To Livingstone.
Day 13 Free day for optional activities around Victoria Falls, such
as rafting or an elephant back safari.
Day 14 Depart Livingstone.
Day 15 Arrive London.

Itineraries
Day 1. Fly to Jo'burg
Overnight flight via Jo'burg to Maun.
Day 2. Fly to Shinde Camp
Arrive Maun and fly to Shinde Camp; lesson in bushcraft and star-gazing.
Days 3/4. Canoeing, fishing & game drive
Canoeing in mokoros, fishing and game drive; weaving & cooking.
Days 5/6. Game drives & boat safari
Transfer to Okuti in Moremi Game Reserve, game drives in Moremi
and boat safari in the Okavango Delta.
Day 7. Overnight flight to London
Fly to Maun to catch overnight flight via Jo'burg to London.
Day 8. Arrive London

Africa. Travelling times are short as we use light aircraft and
4WD vehicles to move between camps. You can travel on any date you
like.

The family trips are designed to appeal to
children with lots of varied activities. There are usually
4 - 6 families and they work well for single parents. Many
of the groups have special teenage dates, so please ask
for these.
All prices include air fares from London.
