lakes and rich pine forests are ideal for family hiking along beautiful
nature trails.
There is free time to allow you to be as relaxed or active as you
wish with various optional activities available: from kayaking,
horse riding and mountain biking to relaxing in a hot sauna.
Itinerary
Day 1. Fly to Kuusamo
Fly to Kuusamo. Drive to our base at Hossa.
Day 2. Julma-Olkky Canyon Lake
Visit Julma-Olkky Canyon Lake; boat trip. Hike to see ancient rock
paintings.
Day 3. Hossa
Guided trek through Hossa area and visit reindeer farm.
Day 4. Hossa
Day at leisure to explore the area, by mountain bike, canoe or rowing
boat.
Day 5.
Canoeing on lake.
Day 6. Juntusranta Village
Visit Juntusranta Village for free time, shopping. Bear watching
at Arola.
Day 7. Fly to London
Is it right for your family?
A relaxing break in a beautiful and remote setting. A variety of
walks are available: from grand ridges to gentle paths along the
lake. You'll be staying in comfortable log cabins with delicious
meals included.
Extensions & tailor-making
You can extend your stay to two weeks if you have more time available.

The family trips are designed to appeal to
children with lots of varied activities. There are usually
4 - 6 families and they work well for single parents. Many
of the groups have special teenage dates, so please ask
for these.
All prices include air fares from London.
