Nepal is a magnificent, diverse country, most famous for being home
to the world's tallest peak and friendliest people. During our easy
trek from Lukla to Namche Bazaar we are surrounded by ice-capped
Himalayan summits and incredible views of Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse.
Walking amongst the people and natural splendour of the world's
highest mountain is a truly great adventure for all the family.
Our experienced and fully trained trekking crew carry all the luggage
plus tired children if needed! We also visit Chitwan National Park
for canoe rides, jungle walks and the opportunity to join an elephant
at bathtime.
Itinerary
Day 1 Depart London.
Day 2 Arrive Kathmandu.
Day 3 Morning tour of the great city temples; afternoon free to
explore or relax at the hotel.
Day 4 Spectacular flight to Lukla; walk through villages to Phakding.
Day 5 Follow the river to Monzo. After lunch we trek through Jorsale
and on to Namche Bazaar.
Day 6 A full day to explore Namche, the Everest National Park Museum
and Sherpa Culture Centre. Optional walk to Kyanjuma for stunning
views of Everest.
Day 7, 8 Retrace our steps to Lukla via Phakding.
Day 9 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu; afternoon free.
Day 10 Drive to Chitwan National Park. Optional rafting on the Trisuli
River en route.
Day 11, 12 Two full days of jungle activites in Chitwan National
Park including elephant safaris, dugout canoe rides and jungle walks.
Day 13 Drive to Kathmandu; afternoon free.
Day 14 Free day for optional scenic flight over Everest and a chance
to visit the Nava Kiran Orphanage. Afternoon depart Kathmandu.
Day 15 Arrive London.

The family trips are designed to appeal to
children with lots of varied activities. There are usually
4 - 6 families and they work well for single parents. Many
of the groups have special teenage dates, so please ask
for these.
All prices include air fares from London.
