There is a huge amount on offer in this part of the world: for wildlife
lovers we spend two days in the game-rich Kruger N.P. before a walking
safari in Swaziland's Hlane Game Reserve where there is an excellent
chance of a close encounter with elephant and rhino. In season,
South Africa's coastline is also privy to some spectacular whale-watching.
For landscape lovers, we visit the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains
and the mountainous country of Lesotho as well as relaxing on some
of the exquisite beaches of Mozambique and South Africa. For the
more culturally-minded, we explore the battlefield at Rorke's Drift
and there is the option of a Robben Island tour and visit to a traditional
Lesotho village. City lovers cannot fail to be impressed by Cape
Town, one of the most beautiful and engaging cities in the world,
and Maputo is famed for its great seafood and nightlife.
