An exhilarating week in the Southwest of the USA, including the
Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Zion, Bryce and Lake Powell
The Southwest is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular
landscapes in the world. The scenery is so dramatic that vast stretches
have been preserved as national parks and nature reserves. This
short break is designed to give a good in-depth taste of this fantastic
area, visiting the most famous sights and allowing ample time for
walking and relaxing in the parks by minimising driving time. To
top it off, we spend two unforgettable nights in Las Vegas.
Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Las Vegas.
Day 2 Drive to Colorado Plateau and red mountains of Zion N.P.
Day 3 Hike to Zion's Angel's Landing and the Narrows. To Bryce Canyon
N.P.
Day 4 Walk among stunning geological formations. To Lake Powell.
Day 5 Morning free to relax or explore nearby canyon. On to Monument
Valley for optional sunset jeep tour.
Day 6 To Grand Canyon, afternoon walking and exploring.
Day 7 Walk along the West Rim Trail for great views, or board a
plane or helicopter for an unforgettable flight (optional). To Las
Vegas. Enjoy a night out along the famous Strip!
Day 8 Depart Las Vegas.
Day 9 Arrive London.
