The Moon now added as a new destination!
We are working with a local school on this! They are running a project
on creativity and one of the ideas that came up was to design some holidays
on the moon.
The entries were were presented and filmed, and a winner chosen.
I was very impressed by the imagination and creativity of the groups
and it was great fun discussing the projects with the groups. I even got
to taste some real moon cheese!
So congratulations to all at Dixons college, Bradford!

We had technical problems with the film of the project so we could not add this to the
website as hoped. Below is the script for the presentation by the winning
group. This will give an idea of the project.
A ROCKET TO THE MOON
Due to the current growth in technology it can be seen holidays to the
moon will soon be available.
Such an adventure is primarily for those seeking a thrill conversely;
this should not discourage others as the holiday will also include attractions
that reflect others needs such as:
Health and fitness
Science
History
General facts
Art
For those who are money conscious as a cause of the current climate, the
cost of activities is virtually free of charge. On the other hand however
the price of the holiday itself is fairly steep, nevertheless; it has
to be said a holiday to the moon is a once in a lifetime experience thus
the price should not affect the consumers decision.
The final points to be made are what truly add to this surreal experience
that is flying to the moon. The first element is based upon the subject
of food; tinned food can be taken however fresh food can also be delivered
(the cost of delivery will be added to the client’s final charge).
Another point discusses souvenirs, as we do not wish to destroy the environment
upon the moon a limited amount of souvenirs (moon rocks) shall be sold,
in addition to this holidaymakers will be asked to camp.
The last and possibly most important point to be made is based upon the
weather. For example the weather near the “sea of serenity”
can change from -200deg in the shadow to 200+deg. When out of the shadow
therefore you have to be sure to bring clothes for all occasions.
