Peru's mountain areas
The Peruvian Andes form long ridges and deep valleys and the mountains
are particularly shapely with remarkable wind carved ice flutes –
Alpamayo has long held the accolade of being the world's most beautiful
mountain. Trekking in Peru's mountains is varied and can take you along
high valleys, across passes and longer treks can circle one of the massifs.
One of the best known treks in Peru is the circuit of the Huayhuash –

Inca archaeology in Peru
 Several
hundred years ago the Incas strode out from their capital, Cusco, to form
one of the world's greatest empires. Their works still stand and are amazing
in their scale and grandeur. Peru is the proud home of Machu Picchu, the
lost city, the highlight of any Peru holiday. Machu Picchu is best approached
on foot along the Inca Trail and we can offer several
tours that do just this. Around Cusco and the Sacred Valley are many
other outstanding archaeological sites well worth a visit.
Lake Titicaca
One of our popular tours takes the world's highest railway from Cusco
and visits Lake Titicaca. There is an other-worldly atmosphere about this
high lake, with huge blue skies and sparkling light. A boat will take

want it. Please note that the prices quoted are for guidance only and
do not include any internal flights. Please ask for a quote for your complete

Note that different starting points are used for different trips. This
is to make it easy to join the trips to make a longer holiday. We can
of course arrange for you to start in Lima if you are arriving from Europe.
We also offer some of the treks as luxury departures. This includes high
quality equipment, outstanding meals prepared by your own chef, and other

The legendary Inca Trail takes you through the diverse wilderness of
the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary, to the famed citadel of Machu Picchu.

permits are in high demand.
